Any healthy business needs to “detoxify” its business on a regular basis. How to define “regular” depends on the number of employees and the overall growth of your business. How do you “detoxify?” Is it through quarterly assessments? Or through team-building exercises? Through client feedback reviews? Or peer reviews?

We have all heard the phrase. Some of us believe it more than others. Whether you believe it or not…the pressing question is: can you be successful as a jack of all trades? Or MUST you master something?

“Over the hill broke” is a dog that is so well trained that it will complete a certain sequence of actions properly even when the owner does not see it. So if the owner shoots a bird that falls on the other side of the crest of the hill, the owner can trust that the dog will go over the hill, remain focused and retrieve the bird properly…just as it would if it were retrieving the bird on this side of the crest. That is “over the hill broke!”

Some have said relativism is dead. It is now the age of moral absolutism. We are no longer free to respectfully disagree. Instead, we are tagged as “bad and evil” if we disagree with someone’s version of truth or what they are choosing to hold as true. Scary…but it is happening. If you take a moment to think of interactions you have witnessed, specifically on social media, you will quickly note examples of this moral absolutism.
